Tip 1. - You should drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day.


 

Tip 2. - The Recommended Daily Amount (RDA) for Fruit & Vegetables is 5 portions.


 

Tip 3. - There are two types of fat: Saturated and Unsaturated. You should cut down on the saturated fat which includes meat, cheese, pastry, cakes, butter.


 

Tip 4. - A balanced diet must contain: Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fat, Vitamins, Mineral salts and Fibre.


 

Tip 5. - 5 ways you can workout without going to the gym:

  1. Go for a walk or jog down the local park
  2. Carry your grocery bags to the car
  3. Run up and down your stairs at home
  4. Dance to your favourite music
  5. Do some sit-ups while watching TV

 

Tip 6. - Exercise is a good way to reduce stress.


 

Tip 7. - Citrus fruits are a good source of Vitamin C and contain Flavonoids, which helps lower cholesterol.


 

Tip 8. - Drink boiled hot water with fresh lemon juice for a home-made detox drink.
